What bands/singers do you wish you had seen live??

Post by Sword sparkle »

I wish I had seen the Clash live during their pomp, I saw Strummer with the Mescaleros a few times and he did a few Clash numbers.
In the future I would like to see Bauhaus and the Anti Nowhere league sometime whilst they are still going.

A 'very young' Bob Dylan. Seen him a couple of years ago, but would have loved to have been around in the 60's flower power era

Stranglers circa '77, Thin Lizzy and AC/DC with Bon Scott are far and away at the top of an endless list that would include Hendrix, Elvis, Cream, Deep Purple, The Pistols, Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, .....................eclectic innit?
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

Bauhaus, Nick Cave in his younger days (although he puts on a damn fine show now) and of course the Stranglers in the 70s (unfortunately I was too young then, dancing around to Boney M and my Puff the Magic Dragon record).
Boogie now, Dave!

Any time when The Stranglers had Hugh in the line up, would have loved to have been at one of the hope 'n' anchor gigs or intimate America ones. The Beatles would have been amazing too. The Buzzcocks with Devoto would have been interesting.
Shove it up yer bollocks then!
