I'm glad that YOU enjoyed it Bry...must have been quite emotional for you. As far as I'm concerned this gig had been playing on my mind for quite some while, never thought it would happen but now I'm so glad I went. Even though I'm not totally sold on all of the music I wouldn't have missed last night for the world. A genuine legendary gig I reckon. Been playing 'Real Life' all day btw 8)

Not too much to add from what's already been written.

Got there pretty late due to getting stuck in the nightmare that is the 'curry mile'. Saw some of Ipso Facto, tbh thought they were pretty dull.
However, Magazine were brilliant, the warmth in that room was something I have rarely seen at a gig before. Especially after the opening 'light pours out of me'.
Nice to see that Howard is still as eccentric as ever and pleased to report that Noko nailed the guitar.
Agree with TBC about 'My Tulpa' and I would liked to have heard 'cut-out shapes' but those are minor qubbles in what was a fantastic night, even 'The Book' worked although it was greeted with derision from a few people around me.
Leaving the Academy all I could hear was people saying what a great gig it was.
To offend, or be offended is purely subjective.

Doubt it - there were people over 5ft at the gig so unless he's sat like a little leprechorn on the barrier then he's got no chance
