Re: THE CURE 4:13
I was wondering about this album as well. I was really disappointed with the previous one which i thought was just them going trhough the motions, so im curious to know if this one is any improvement.

Re: THE CURE 4:13
Got round to listening to it and, I'm not sure.
Starts off well with 'Underneath the Stars' but then it seems to drift into the average. However it does end with a couple of really good tracks in 'The Scream' and 'It's Over'.If you're looking for catchy tunes, you won't find them on this album. They don't seem to be using keyboards much on this album and so lose a depth of sound.
All in all, better than the last album, but doesn't reach the dizzy heights of Disintergation.

Thank you for your review, Hammer. I then won't be buying it... I too much like catchy and powerful tunes. I still was very disappointed with the last album, the worst cure album IMO.

You're welcome. Agree with you about last album. Bloodflowers was pretty patchy as well.Unbroken wrote:Thank you for your review, Hammer. I then won't be buying it... I too much like catchy and powerful tunes. I still was very disappointed with the last album, the worst cure album IMO.
Sure this one will be on the £5 shelf in a few months.
