When we saw DEVO last year we got a good deal at the hotel which overlooks the cricket ground: http://www.lccc.co.uk/msites.php?p=22

Certainly worth considering.

That's about 2 miles outside the city centre though (that said - I have walked it before) - I'll check it out

Jim
2 Ibis & a Novotel within walking distance of Manc Academy (and the Apollo for that matter I reckon). Both around £65-£70 per room if I remember correctly. Decent standard of accomodation but no brekkie included.

Of course what you should do is wait for the pub to open but Spooner wouldn't know about that.

Was just going to post that! Noticed it on SeeTickets. Still got my tickets for Friday and that's the better day for me.
