Super Bowl

Anyone staying up late for this one? Used to be seriously into American Football but I've lost touch of late.

Liked it when an american uncle gave me some NFL bumf around the age of ten but haven't maintained the early interest. Last time I watched it Dan Marino was throwing for the Dolphins and William Perry aka The Fridge was bulldozing for the Bears.

Yes, I'll be staying up late to watch it ! Its on at 4:15pm my time, so I shouldn't be too tired at the end of it ! :grin:

Looking for the aging Colts to fulfil their promise. They have been by far the best team in the 4 years I've been here. The Bears on the other hand are up and coming and will be good for a few years. Their time will come later methinks.

You know I think I can still recall their numbers - strange what the memory retains...

Fridge= 72 ?

Marino= 14 ?

Don't have Sky Sports or NASN so will not be watching this year.

Was well into it NFL when Channel 4 had it, even went to see the Barcelona Dragons play(still got the tour t somewhere I think).

All a bit predictable. Grossman crap, Colts win at a canter.

Thought when the Bears ran the kick off back for a touchdown that it might be their day. However, when the Colts went in ahead at 1/2 time I felt the game was virtually over.
