About 4 inches in rural East Anglia this morning - all the schools are closed, so without the school run, the roads are very quiet, and my journey in to work wasn't too painful.
Still snowing lightly here at Stansted Airport, which has been closed for several hours.
I work for a Russian company, so nobody even thinks about not coming to work because of a bit of snow.
Hometime could be a bit more of a challenge, once everything has frozen solid.

Loads of snow here (Bexleyheath) - but work and most schools open (my kids didn't like this). At my daughters school, the kids are told not to play with the snow, or throw snowballs. Bloody nanny state.gizzard wrote:We've had about three inches in the Cotswolds.
Very nice though not enough to stop me coming to work.
The view looking out my office is like a winter wonderland.
Resurrect the Jodie Foster thread...

There's a call centre in Peterborough missing an overskilled employee !
Don't forget to post some pics and perhaps take a sherpa?

Just got back from my walkies - chilblains on the face now!
Only have my ye olde faithful manual camera so 'no can do' with the uploading however, I do have to pop out again later so should be able to get some on my mobile phone camera. :-)
Not many people out and about today round our way, all obviously far more sensible than I and are staying in the warm.... either that or they're all at work, unlike me who's only part-timing it at the mo! It's still -1C here and won't get any higher now the peak of the day is nigh. Freezing fog forecast for tonight should mean the roads become pretty damn bad...
Just had a bowl of Heinz tomato soup and a cuppa tea and am now going out into the garage to fire up the hammond and make sure she's all ok (they're all generators/motors & valves so take time to get going) ready for the 2 gigs I've got planned over the weekend with another bluesman from the US of A.

If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
