I think it's about 4 inches, but she estimates it to be much closer to 3.
Good God indeed! On the normally only ten minute journey which took nearer twenty this morning I passed two rolled cars and an ambulance that had ran up the arse of a car turning off a sliproad. People forget snow is slippy I think.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
Last time it snowed a lot here there were 4x4s stuck everywhere. Cars were everywhere. Armed with a shovel (just in case) and an old skateboard we got to work to find hardly anyone there.
As you may know the Chilterns are quite large hills and we did 10 miles in my old Peugeot 106. All we needed was snow chains! We stopped every 10 minutes to check that they weren't wrapping around the axel. We cruised by everyone grinning.
I don't think many places would sell snow chains but my brother got them when he drove to France for a skiing holiday.
Just watched an advert on the TV for 'Miracle Grow' fertiliser with a woman picking ripe tomatoes on a sunny day. Thought it was ironic and a waste of the company's money. Guess the DIY shops are suffering as well.
