Viewers in Anglia will be able to catch a TV programme about Essex bands from the 1970's at midnight tonight on ITV.

Can't think of any bands off hand who are from Essex but it could be interesting and funny....... we shall see, we shall see....

Funny you should say that - but I had a nice pint last Monday with a colleague of mine who posed a similar question about naming Essex-based musical artistes....and there are too many... But you might have to plug in yer brain to name them all, alas...

Essex is the home of many well known fishing tackle manufacturers....they're all too busy fishing in Essex to be singing songs.
