a strange thing happened on my test, a black cat ran in front of the car as soon as I set off.
luckily, I did an emergency stop and from then on my confidence was sky high and I passed easy.
the thing is nerves are inevitable, I think the thing is to complement yourself, very slightly, when things go right, otherwise dwelling on the inevitable negatives that will take place during a test, make the nerves and mistakes amplify themselves.
all the best next time, if you fail you won't be the only cnut, and if you pass you can brag for ages so there's nowt to loose. :D

I had a female examiner and slipped her a digit so she passed me. :D

But seriously - stay calm and remember that you can always take the test again. Be cheerful and confident when you meet your examiner. It's two thirds pretending you know what you're doing and acting confident and only one third aptitude! Your examiner will want to feel safe so be sure of yourself. Once you pass you'll learn how to drive.

Best of luck! :)
