Tinned Spam
The food of the devil or like Marmite, the recipient of unfair reviews over the years ?

You can save your ration book for the real thing these days!
I do like a bit of marmite though.

Unlike Jazz, Delicious Cold, Disgusting Hot... A colleague of mine does a nasty Spam Bolognese which involves grilling the Spam first.
Can't you see can't you see that you're rocking the boat?

Underwood Devilled Ham and Plumrose Bacon Grill
Re: Tinned Spam
Spam is especially good fried. I also like corned beef. Some of the cheaper processed hams are a bit iffy. Does this make me a spam snob?
Re: Tinned Spam
What could possibly be snobbish about spam? Mind you I'd always considered it's near relative the plumrose bacon grill to be a bit more earthy and macho; something you'd eat with home grown fried tomatoes sprinkled lightly with sugar, either before or after a hard day's graft. Either way you wouldn't want to eat any of it on a daily basis; not unless you were after a premature death.
