I've taken the liberty of doing a little price comparison, If I may.

Jack Whitehall £38.50
Scouser John Bishop £71.47
Chubby Brown £98.50
Wait for it
Ricky Gervais up to £170
Ah I get you now, sorry, you mean good value compared to other stand-ups. Well yes, damned right you are. Chubby Brown one though, that's a joke right?
Stubhub, O2 Manchester £90. I just did a quick search for a bit of fun and thats what came up.

Big fan, seen him loads including March in Glasgow.
Well worth whatever price he's asking, cos it'll be
no rip off. Before the Glasgow gig he announced,
"There are tickets on sale for my Glasgow gig via
the illegal touts at GetMeIn, in Row S. If they are bought,
the ticketholders will be personally thrown out by me."
On the night in Glasgow he claimed that any empty seats,
and there weren't many, had been Get Me In ones so he had
actually Sold Out the gig. He said he was now in the position of
being big enough that Get Me In were buying his tickets to sell on,
but not big enough that anyone would fork out 3 times the face value
they were asking. He was happy that the tickets were sold, even though
no one was in the seat, and said that that would be the ideal gig for him,
playing a sold out gig to a room full of empty seats!
...I'm making lists of all the people I love,
and all the cunts that should fuck off...

For me he's one of the best comedians around, though obviously comedy is very subjective, and good value for money (£30) at Leicester square.
I think he's a fall/Smith kinda guy but you can't have it all.
I like him

Maybe we should all have an alternative night out: All sitting on the front row of a Stewart Lee gig wearing Stranglers T shirts!

It truly is a different form of comedy. Genius doesn't even begin to describe it.
Reminds me of the Hugh Cornwell form of confrontational humour.

I liked hes sketches aswell one of my favourites being about "All creatures great and small"! "God" made them all. Hillarious, also the sketch about the christmas jumper!. I watched him when he had he's series on Channel 4. Never seen him live.

Someone care to explain this? I copied and pasted from Stew's site.
