Live Stream and my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini

Being slightly computer illiterate I have just got my phone connected to Facebook. BUT the reason was that I wanted to do livestream on my phone to my facebook account so that when we played matches I could show them live on facebook.

But for some reason I am not able to do this. Everyone keeps saying I can, but there is no red camera on my facebook page or my phone, so what am I doing that's wrong?

Any tips welcomed. Cheers and Happy New Year

Click the Live icon when posting a new update. That will basically stream your phone's cam.

Unfortunately the red logo does not come up at all. I am just trying to work out why and where it is etc.
