Superb review young man, I almost felt that I was there.....oh wait I was!
Every Stranglers fan needed to share this exceptional evening!
SO were on fire....you could close your eyes and be transported back to '76...ah the nostalgia.
As we say in Wales...."I know because I was there..."

Bloody magnificent fund-raising for charity as well, I kept seeing amazing stuff come up for auction on Facebook for this event. Where did that Stranglers/JJ jacket come from, it looked superb to say it wasn't black?
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

Steve Hillier and co. certainly put a lot of effort into the fundraising and the inblacks dug deep! The Jacket was the creation of Simon Pay I was chatting to him at the event and he told me he used some kind of sublimation process, I think the Red goes with the NMH subject matter tooBobinblack wrote:Bloody magnificent fund-raising for charity as well, I kept seeing amazing stuff come up for auction on Facebook for this event. Classy indeed Bob! Not sure exact figure but I think Steve mentioned that the raffle raised £850 which is combined for the Jacket and the Guitar...Bobinblack wrote:A real classy work of art that. Cheers Elvis. A fine read.

The jacket looked great. Almost as good as the official Stranglers merchandise of late.
