It's a lot for any gig really...
I was offered a ticket for RHCP which roused my interest
However I nearly choked on my f-in dentures when I was told the ticket was £160!!!
Take the zero of the end and maybe...

I thought of going to see Primus on their next tour - ticket price for them is something like £50! And most people have never heard of them. Mind you, Les Claypool is a fine bassist.
I can't help getting old. I just refuse to grow up.

How is it The Stranglers can put on a great live gig with good stage set for around £30.00 including booking fees? When other bands with less talent charge rip off prices?
You would have to pay me to see Robbie toss pot Williams live,a total tosser with no talent.

Perhaps the bigger capacity venues like the 02 etc that the likes of Robbie Williams play at are more expensive to book. Also a lot of these so called bigger bands - like the chille peppers - probably spend a lot more money on stage light shows & other effects whereas the Stranglers are quite basic with that kind of thing

But £160 for RHCP is too much for me, that'll cover 5 odd gigs from March tour!aldinblack wrote:Perhaps the bigger capacity venues like the 02 etc that the likes of Robbie Williams play at are more expensive to book. Wonder how much the stranglers would charge if they were bigger than they are,and played arenas? Glad they play the smaller venues.the smaller the venue, the better the gig as far as I'm concerned.I've never been to a stadium concert and never would.
