Re: blank cd issues
I went to a "vintage" hi-fi shop today with a mate who is heavily into old record decks, valve amps etc.
The place was a treasure trove and the kit (all checked out before you purchase) was extraordinary.
Cassette recording consoles (early Tascam) etc.
Gorgeous.

Whatever's cheapest in TESCO.
Currently 'Verbatim'.
No problems burning CDs or Video discs.
I generally burn mp3 onto them for in the car so a bit of loss in dynamic frequency is not really noticeable when you're on the motorway.

Re: blank cd issues
verbatim, maxwell Tesco own brand.
Sometimes the problem can be if they are playing back the CD on a old cd player.
Older CD players don't play all of a CD-R, as it gets through the disc its starts to stick, jump or you just carn't change the tracks.
More modern CD players can play both CD-R and digital Audio.
Digital audio is supposed to be superior to the CD-R.
Check that your CD or ever is playing them back does not have a Old Cd player.
