Saw first episode of new series last night - found it a bit slow and dull .
Prefer Game of Thrones these days I think - never a dull moment in that .

Both passed me by entirely. I think telly went downhill when the Avengers was pulled in 1967. RIP Patrick Macnee.
I can't help getting old. I just refuse to grow up.

Re: New X Files
Liked last night's X-Files and was thinking that it was moving along at a good pace actually
Bit bored with Game of Thrones but can't fault it really. TONS of stuff to watch due to getting a Fire Stick a few months back, old stuff as well as new series and films.

Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.
Re: New X Files
That's what I thought. A lot faster pace than the old series. A lot of information to set up the other 5 episodes. And obviously a much bigger budget on effects.Bobinblack wrote:Liked last night's X-Files and was thinking that it was moving along at a good pace actually

Maybe I'll watch again - must admit I was a bit distracted as something more interesting was happening at same time .

Very good, loved the X files and still do,a great antidote to most of the brain dead TV today. And great to see the sinister smoking man back. Also on Monday you have the fantastic "Gotham".
