Bitter, other option is vodka. Had to endure larger before I was 18 as my mates drank it.

Oh, alcohol? I could be persuaded to have a small dry sherry if we're approaching Sunday lunch but really do any of us need it? There's nothing better than a nice cup of lapsang souchong in my book.
