Sir Alex Ferguson retires.
I thought there had to be a reason for Jose Mourinho being uncharacteristically and unsuitably humble after Real Madrid put United out of the Champions League. I would be very surprised if Moyes gets the job.
Oh the bliss, oh the pleasure caressing your ears.

Bad news for Chelsea if he goes there. Bad news for the PL as well if Fergie leaves. He is a master tactician. Maybe he should take on the Scotland role. Much needed I feel

David Moyes I reckon will be Alex Ferguson's choice. He has done a great job at Everton over the past 11 years (with the limited resources he's had) and (for me) it would be a natural progression for him. Bags of EPL experience, lives locally and is a Scottish manger that Ferguson will probably feel he can work with (as he will still be around the club). For me Jose Mourinho will go to Chelsea.

One of the best managers ever.

Watching Sky Sports News today it's almost as if he'd died.

It is actually quite refreshing to hear tributes paid to someone while they're still breathing.
Love him or loathe him he was an incredible success for Man United. They also persevered with him in his early years at Old trafford when many were calling for him to go. I met him once at a funeral and he was very cordial and affable, even when I told him I was a gooner.

Re: Sir Alex Ferguson retires.
And to think the fans were calling for him to be sacked before his success started @ united.
1990: Manchester United were drawn away to Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup. Forest were performing well that season and were in the process of winning the League Cup for the second season running, and it was expected that United would lose the match and Ferguson would consequently be sacked, but United won the game 1–0 thanks to a Mark Robins goal and eventually reached the final. This cup win is often cited as the match that saved Ferguson's Old Trafford career, even though it has since been stated that his job was never at risk
