I miss furry white dog shit! (it was everywhere)!
Cresta fizzy pop, (full of bad chemicals I know)-"Its frothy man"
Roast Ox Crisps,(murphys? Rileys? crisps were THE best)?? (Death to Walkers crisps)!
The different clothes/music that abounded back then? Reggae/Ska/2-tone/Punk/new-wave/Clive Dunn!/disco/MoR/kraut rock/Wurzels, and god forbid I can`t believe I`m saying this-even Prog rock!!
(Hate todays purile,unimaginative/creative "selected" boy/girl bands! Everythings been done before, or if it is a "new" sound it`s SHIT? Political correctness. Lack of fashion (YES everbody wears the same clothes-yawn)!
Yes, everything was better in the 70`s! ???

Talking of bunking off school, we used to jump into the Lavant course,which runs under roman conduits under the town of chichester,in the warmer months, when it stopped flowing to escape capture.

More late 70`s, early 80`s, was the Chichester Rock Society(Chi Rock Soc, for short). Now closed down. I can imagine JJ, playing with the Euroman band there?
I was in the main a "HM joint", but had the Piranhas,Ian Gillans sister! Dumpys Rusty Nuts, and 1001 pub/rock bands play there.
In an old school building, cheap members bar, bikers galore, hippies,fights,punks! the lot! Every other saturday night, all year round!
The local council would NEVER allow such a place to exist nowadays.

Aggh, the 70s!

Having the shit kicked out of me at school everday, spag bol or chips every night, spam for dinner! Early closing, cars breaking down, permanently cold in the winter, permanently hot in the summer, greasy hair and acne, being caned, having to do lines (not of charlie) everything running late, shit tv being bored. Just putting the other side across!
