Just read on't net.

Davy jones from the sixties band has died.

No longer Monkieing around.

Grew up watching the TV show. Good memories. Zany humour and one of the original 'put together' bands.

Heart attack apparently. Great voice and lead singer, funny as well. RIP

Some of thier later, self-penned and played, tunes were excellent.

I've always loved 'Porpoise Song (Theme from 'Head').

Joking aside, I wouldn't be surprised. Look at Winehouse, Houston etc etc etc-
