Re: RIP LIS SLADEN
I saw this earlier. She looked so young for her age. I remember her in the mid 70's in the Jon Pertwee and I think Tom Baker Dr.Who episodes. Very sad.
Hugh - "We had gangs of skinheads coming along trying to cause problems and stuff"
Rick Wakeman - "How did you deal with it?"
Hugh - "Our bass player used to jump off the stage and beat the shit out of them!"

Re: RIP LIS SLADEN
Lis Sladen was in her early 60's and was as youthful as ever, sad loss to the entertainment world, the era of Sarah Jane as companion was easily one of Doctor Who's finsest

Good god! This is a sad day.
She was a lovely lady. I thought she was a really lovely person....even my kids will be gutted.
Bless her.

Re: RIP LIS SLADEN
Genuinely taken aback by this news, had no idea she was ill! She seemed like a very genuine, down to earth person in the interviews and the DVD commentaries she did, with a great affection for Doctor Who.
RIP Sarah Jane.
