That's weird, I always thought that your glasses were fine,
it was just the rest of you that was a wee bit squinty!

Aw, come on, eventually they make you proud.

My son (7) brought home his spellings last week and the first 2 in the list were "beach" and "peach". He has to write sentences using his set spellings and, without prompting, he found he could combine them into one sentence:

"I was walking on the beachis looking at the peachis (trees)"

"Mummy, I made it ok, I put trees" he said when he showed me! Sadly his teacher is in hospital this week so I can't hope for any interesting comments back!

Same school Pidge went to, I'm guessing.

It was my youngest's 16th birthday this week & we celebrated it by going to the Indian followed by 'Hot Tub Time Machine' at the cinema it was fab

When I think how stressful all those birthday parties were when the boys were young - baking millions of cakes, bouncy castles, 30 hyper kids running about screaming or 'meals out' at McDonalds etc

Kids - I 'd have'em but it's not so bad them growing up either

Over at the band's guitarist's house last night he mentioned that his
son turns 17 next week and all he wanted was a Dominos Pizza and he'd be happy.
Ah bless, I thought.
Of course, he's now upgraded that request to "Tickets for Donnington" instead.
