Who do you think the main contenders are this year? Bradley Wiggns a possibility?? Or do you think Lance will come out guns blazing!! Good to see Colnago back on the world stage of racing!

I certanly think Team Sky will have their work cut out, see how they get on with the Tour Down Under. Good to see Bbox Bouygues Telecom riding Colnago's!

Hopefully the coverage wil improve now that there's a British Based Team in it.LAFOLIE wrote:I certanly think Team Sky will have their work cut out, see how they get on with the Tour Down Under. Good to see Bbox Bouygues Telecom riding Colnago's!

Downhill MTB is far more exciting to watch. Watch some DH stuff on http://www.freecaster.tv & you'll see...LAFOLIE wrote:mantheylovetohate wrote:Steve Peat to win the World Cup competition! Oh, different bikes...

IMHO TDF only seems interesting in the mountains or the final stage in Paris. Too many drugs & team tactics.

I had turned her into a TdF fan
Great stuff...extremely funny...thanks for posting!
Whilst I'm thrilled Colnago will be backing a team in 2010 - it just leaves me a little sad that this team does not hold a pro tour licence for 2010 http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/fedr...rotour-licence
So, their only hope for a place in the 2010 TDF will be a wild card. Hopefully being French, this could work in their favour. However, how has this happend......was this the only team without sponsorship Colnago could back?? It does make my blood boil! However, Team Sky (Pro tour licence holder) strole in with Sponsership from Pinarello. Now, was this just Colnago being a little slow off the mark.....who knows ??????

Re: Tour de France - 2010
I read this last summer:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/French-Revoluti ... 752&sr=1-1
Another good, funny read from the author of many a fine travel book, and it even got
me interested a bit in Le Tour. In has an interesting history, no doubt about it, and the
book covers it well, as well as being downright funny as the 37 year old author attempts to cycle Le Tour on a mid-life whim, having never sat on a bike sadle since he was a kid.
Well worth a read, if you haven't already.
