Well done Alessandro Petacchi ! It was a great race today with one of the old guard taking todays stage. Petacchi is still a class rider!

Well, we are nearly coming up to the end of the first week of the tour. I must say, quite are few people are suffering from 'tour fever' and are following the tour. We will seen be heading into the mountains! :grin:

I know that, but I was asking that euphemistically, in the sense of would the real contenders please step forward.

Personally speaking, anyone outwith the top 15 can forget it & Contador only gave up 8 secs yesterday.
