However, having seen the pics it beats me, but I would say I think you have got something decent there, if the sleeve was a proof sleeve instead of a gatefold I may have a hypothesis.

As it stands you lucky skunk I think you have got a nice item, howeve check with Owen..........oh yeah and enjoy The Championship!!!!!!!!

:?
Just seen this thread so sorry for the late reply. I've never seen or heard of a gatefold Folie so this is really interesting. Is the sleeve a 'proper' release sleeve or is it possibly 2 flat 'proof' sleeves (to check print quality/colours etc) which have been stuck together. This would then explain the different colour rear sleeve too. Even if it's not, then it's still a nice rarity & should be worth a good price. I always loved the gatefolds of French Rattus & German X Certs so a third one is a great find. Lots of the catalogue numbers have country codes in the first few digits hence the similarity to the Dutch catalogue number. Are there no hints as to a country on any of the sleeves/labels?
Fraid not Owen, nothing on it anywhere to suggest its origin.
I shall have to delve deeper....

It's a very unusual item, but the inner gatefold is a bit odd. The design is usually like a book, you open it and all the details are facing you square on. Gatefold sleeves usually only contain a picture (eg. The Meninblack, Japanese X-Certs) not actual written details (like a lyric sheet) . With the La Folie example you have to turn it to read all the details which is odd and very crude. It's almost as if the designer has simply opened up the "inner" La Folie sleeve and placed it inside the gatefold without any thought. It's very odd. I don't think it's an official release, but then again what's with the vinyl with the strange coloured liberty label. Is this someone's attempt at trying to produce a bootleg of an official release with a twist (the gatefold sleeve) I really think it might be!! :?
