very smart! only bad bit about mk 1's in my opinion is the headlight.

Off to book it in for next week, ain't got time to collect it till back end of the week. He's MOT'ing it monday, I know what ou mean about the headlight, and personally the rear square end :grin: but hey, I'll be 'bombing about' on it this summer ;-) Will let you know when its sorted.

That relatively new Piaggio Yourban is quite interesting.

Two wheels up front and 300cc. And you can drive it on your car license without the stigma of "L" plates. No test to do at all and that applies to the 500cc model.

Piaggio have found a flaw in our laws. They have fitted a foot break to the bike which activates both the front and back brakes at the same time.

I would go moped as some of my happiest biking days where back in 77 on my FS1E ,wish I had still had it . I was lucky as I could go straight to 250cc bikes with L plates and no CBT .
