Under and Alone (infiltrating the worlds most violent motorcycle gang) by William Queen.
Re: Last book read
Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut. Magnificent. Must try Slaughterhouse Five again, I suspect reading that at Legoland one afternoon did not do it justice

It's here somewhere at the back of the cupboard...ah yes there it is!
a new key to expand and unlock your consciousness!
As above , so below by Alan Oken.
a primary guide to astrological awareness.
Haven't dipped into it for years and far too busy to do so at the moment, but for any budding astrologers out there I can only assume it's an absolute must!

David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell
"Underdogs, Misfits and the Art of Battling Giants"
Multi-layered arguments. Started off a bit slowly with the original story of David and Goliath and then got tedious with basketball tactics but took off with educational exploration and power struggles. Had a bit of a lightbulb moment on a personal level so overall it worked for me.

Heard the Ted talk on David and Goliath - he was basically making out Goliath was some short sighted disabled guy or something. Fell asleep before it finished

Yep, that was one idea. He does have a rather long winded way of spelling out his points that can be a bit tedious. Yeah, yeah, got it, move on.theraven1979 wrote:Heard the Ted talk on David and Goliath - he was basically making out Goliath was some short sighted disabled guy or something. My Bass and Other Animals by session bassist Guy Pratt. Absolutely hilarious, his tale about the Pink Floyd tour bus trying to get in to Canada had tears streaming down my eyes!
