Not many toilets, judging by the huge turd someone left in the bus shelter one morning (in 1988 as I recall). You can just tell when it's human, not dog. Who started this thread anyway?? It's really gone downhill.

This very early Victorian post box dating from 1856 stands outside Banbury town hall, though I imagine 99% of passers by never notice it, and probably even less are aware that the design of these early examples being in the style of a classical column or pillar gave rise to the tag "pillar box" that we use to this day.

Seeing as everyone else has ignored you Mr.Lunatic, I shall tap out a line or two in appreciation of your fascinating post. Most interesting and another of those things we take for granted in our hurry to get from A to B.
