Fuel Price Backlash??

Post by mabus »

Just woke up this morning to find someone had drilled 20mm hole in my wifes cars petrol tank and pilfered the fuel.

FFS it's only a Micra they must have got maybe 10 quids worth of petrol - But they've totally wrote off her petrol tank!!

Just wonder if any posters here have heard of it becoming more prevailent.

That's terrible!! What's next, like when Homer Simpson had his illegal cable hooked up from a neighbourhood scam?? Will people start splicing and stealing their neighbours electric power? We'd better keep the firewood under lock and key now too! Sorry to hear that.

Will insurance cover it?

Gizz, I'm sure if you and everyone else in your area went elsewhere for your diesel, then they'd drop the price.

Wouldn't it be easier to convert the tractor to methane or something similiar?

...not to mention 'Can I check your oil sir? wash your windscreen? check your tires?' Was once just part of the service when buying petrol, hard to believe that now!
