I thought I would "Boing!" this thread.

Bought a new PC laptop two months ago by a well known brand and it's performance is appalling next to the seven year old Mac which is still purring away like a well oiled Mercedes Benz.

Utter shite !

PC
Mac is good for the ooo look at that.
PC is for more practical use.

Easily pleased...
seriously though, bought a mini mac to replace my old one, and they are good. Only downside is software for word, etc expensive and no cd/dvd drive, but otherwise would recommend a Mac.

Mick,

Agree with you on the ooo factor but they don't crash as regularly at all.

had PC's until 2013 - switched to Mac - will NEVER get a pc again - no friggin virus software - updates that dont cripple the machine and the fact you can shut the lid and open it and start up within seconds - dont need a ton of RAM either as the os rarely gets screwed - 3 years use around 18 hrs a day and not one issue - battery life amazing - used to go through a PC a year before just with wear and tear
