Live stuff

Post by christopher »

Sitting in the ratbus on Sunday, I had a thought about Live Albums.

We have had
Live x-cert which no one seems to like, I think it has chara .I like it for its
grittyness
Apollo Revisted which I think is crap, due to the fact that they fucked aroiubd with it.
Hammersmith
Friday 13 thats okay with the electra strings,
Hughs last gig
and countless others.
What is the point of all these cds, apart from having some excellent live tracks we seem to get an awful lot of crap.

Just a thought
hugh says"what ever happend to guilford high street"
Fuck knows to far away for me to see........

The answers are MONEY - The root of all evil (apart from religion) and contract obligation. The record companies can license the tracks for a small amount and then make a profit.

I've loved X-Certs from the day it was released.

I still say X-Certs is their best live album. All Live comes close but X-Certs was the punk snapshot
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
