Just a few days now til I have to make the perilous journey to the loft to retrieve the Xmas paraphernalia. It only seems like yesterday I was putting back the Halloween stuff, how time flies.
The journey itself is not without its dangers. Bulbs need replacing, daughters demanding money, the cat's discarded needles, but once there one can wallow in the pants of nostalgia.
And there nestled between a signed copy of Rattus (Roberts will sign anything) and a substantial pile of Knave magazines, the tinsel lives.
There is a fake tree but I'm giving due consideration to a real one this year.
There's a bloke up by the level crossing (easy folks) doing a roaring trade.

Re: Xmas tree preferences
I had a mate who once eat a Xmas tree.
He farted a cracker.

and all the cunts that should fuck off...
