ANYONE ATTEND THIS GIG AT NEWCASTLE..MET LOADSA STRANGLERS FOLK THER I WAS THE ONE THAT BOUGHT A TRAY OF DRINKS THEN RETURNED AND SLIPPEDNED ABND SLIPPED..........WAS YER PINT ON MY TRAY THAT DAY /.//?

Yes. I was there me and my better half. Sailin on the seven seas. Watched OMD and The Stranglers. Left half way through the 'Minds' set. Kinda cringey Mr Roberts writhing about in the 1991 vest. Great version of Wog though here and Milton Keynes. Superb work by J.E. :)

I was at the Maine Road gig in Manchester and I remember being impressed with Mr Ellis but needed a bit more convincing about Mr Roberts - who was probably about my age now at the time

i was at the maine road one aswell,as far as i can remember paul roberts was a bit sarcastic about being the support band.

yeah,that was the one,im sure i can remember pr saying sarcasticly we are the support band.

Yeah I was there, great version of wog as you say Apollo and didn't omd have a power failure during their set. I also left half way thru the simples in MK.

I was there.....17th August 1991......as I recollect.

I remember the clouds gathering just before The Stranglers took the stage....... :wink:

The first time I ever saw the band outdoors.

If I remember the Power tripped out during "So In Love". When it was restored they came back on and did "Electricity"

Did the drum track/machine have a name? if so what the fook
was it?
