Interesting that two brilliant tracks like Soldiers diary and Anything can happen haven't done well in the vote.

I like both - more than Summat which seems to have got a fair few votes . Good thing Relentless is missed from this poll as it would piss it hands down - I'd rate it as the best non Hugh track of all . I think the all round depth of Suite is excellent , even the weaker songs are quite strong - especially compared the the next album , this is a much stronger and consistent product IMO . Spectre is good and a good choice of single ( though it was like all others bound to fail in that respect) , the album is full of potential good singles .jason wrote:Interesting that two brilliant tracks like Soldiers diary and Anything can happen haven't done well in the vote.

One of the few that the band have done that is really really punk . When I first heard it I liked it - still do .Alexinblack wrote:I was dissapointed not to hear Soldiers Diary on the last tour.

Have to rate the worst one's as Anything and Summat . I'd forgotten until I listened that Anything is one of those jazzy things I don't like - I'd really thought there weren't any on this or if there were I couldn't remember what it was - like Dutch Moon , Santfe the one off Giants which I can't remember the title right now - these I usually skip though not as quickly as I skip MR - I sprint for the skip button when THAT is getting close
.
Right - random pointless post over .

Re: Best track on Suite 16
Not as far as I'm aware. Shame really as it is one of the best tracks since Hugh left the band. IMHO. Much stronger than Spectre and maybe would have fared better as a single. But, Paul Roberts shares the writing credit don't he? So the tight bastards refuse to play it live.Alexinblack wrote:Have they ever done "Shes slipping away" live before?

'She's Slipping away' for me, as much as I like Relentless, its just a rip-off to 'Toiler'
