So how many gigs have YOU seen?
Re: So how many gigs have YOU seen?
As far as I know Phil and I will be doing a Feline article on the official site next year, the Feline UK and French tours were the best ever for me personally.

1st Stranglers gig attended 1982? Portsmouth Guildhall.(same year I saw PLEASE DONT TELL ANYONE-saxon & Gillan) haha.-Awesome slick gig(the Stranglers,that is).
Next gig in 83 @ Reading Rock Festival. (entrance was in an industrial estate? and Ian Gillan singing with Black Sabbath, amongst a giant styro-foam StoneHenge)!!
The MiB owned the festival that day.

Re: So how many gigs have YOU seen?
At this stage of The Stranglers career - I haven't seen enough . Lucky if I could make one venue per tour due to distance & time and other commitments . Voluntarily decided to miss out last tour ,could have made it but , maybe childishly , chose not to . Probably seen them around 15 times and enjoyed all - Ally Pally probably the worst but also most poignant and memorable - as Hugh's last . Nevr made a convention so maybe I should try to get to one - usually they've coincided with cross country running seasons for me and I usually like to compete there , but injuries of late have put running back as a priority , and at 50 I'm not getting quicker
.

All quiet ..........

Saxon were cracking in the early days. Saw Gillan with Spider supporting at Wembley Arena, but have to admit The Stranglers at Reading was the bestSomeone like you? wrote:1st Stranglers gig attended 1982?
