I often think back to the punk era in general and think it can't be beaten or repeated ever again ....it was a fine time to be young .

when I play 5 minutes,I often think back to that first Stranglers gig,Brighton Centre 1979
the first song I heard them play

a great time for me,my football team,Brighton,had just got to the old Div1

got cash in the wage packet in those days and spent the lot on what I wanted

got all the mod cons these days,mobiles computers,but life was definantely my care free back then
well why not,I always keep my socks on

Yep exactly ..its the things we all used to do on a day to day basis before the internet was such a common thing ...when I was young not a day went past without hearing the stranglers...just like films etc
