Maybe nostalgic for all the good things.
Music, cheap drink/chemicals,
having ages to go before I got Really old(21 or 22),
being able to pay at the door to get into gigs.

I'm definitely a nostalgic bastard. I remember the original punk era with such fondness, and those bands form the majority of my music listening these days. The Stranglers, The Damned , The Clash, The Jam, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Ruts, Penetration, The Adverts, The Buzzcocks, X-ray Spex, Killing Joke, SLF....and so on...

Going to gigs was an almost daily event for me in the 80s'.
Living between Edinburgh and Glasgow meant that I could easily get to either, and there were always bands I liked playing.
I've got quite an eclectic taste in music.
Nightmoves in Glasgow was the best, as the main band didn't usually come on til' well after midnight, and so we could get the first train home in the morning, just in time to go to work(for a well earned sleep).
I can't play an instrument, sing or even whistle in tune, so I have a great admiration and respect for anyone who is willing to put themselves on the line and go up on stage and perform.
