Yes the piece of shit did..........had signed pics from convention 2001 and pics of the band I'd taken over the years. She changed the locks on the door so I could'nt get in and underfed my boxer dog (Bonkers) til I managed to grab him one night and take him to my niece. They also killed the hamster (Donought Von Lichenstein) by leaving it unattended whilst I was away on my stag weekend and only today, I saw my ex-cat (Arse) and picked her up and could feel her ribs. I hate the bitch for treating animals in this way and for throwing stuff out that were one-offs and will never be able to see again
I don't get angry very much but seeing this thread brought back a lot of unhappy memories.

Re: Has your (ex)wife ever........
Having read some of these stories I'm really sorry that some of these ex wife's have damaged some of your Stranglers collections.
Re: Has your (ex)wife ever........
My first wife didn't throw out my Stranglers records but she nicked my Siouxsie & The Banshees collection.
But I stole it back.
And I took her record player as well.

About the only thing my ex wife did not take. She would not have dared. I'm not a violent person by any means but I think she has common sense there.
Oh she did ask for the signed JJ photograph that Marian Shepherd sent to me when one of the kids was ill.
The ex had to cancel at the last hour. I mentioned it to Marian who asked for name and address then lo & behold a signed photo personally to my ex arrived through the post.
Suppose she can keep that!

Maybe I'll find love when there's nothing to do........

I had to ditch all my vinyl when I left a boyfriend, I just had to get out of the relationship. He was a gambler so I can only hope he sold the lot to fund his nefarious ways.

Why would that make things better?Bag Lady wrote:I had to ditch all my vinyl when I left a boyfriend, I just had to get out of the relationship. He was a gambler so I can only hope he sold the lot to fund his nefarious ways.

Better than scratching the lot and destroying them? Don't you understand the guilt I go through about not rescuing the Stranglers from him? I deserved better, so did they.ThruBeingCool wrote:Why would that make things better?Bag Lady wrote:I had to ditch all my vinyl when I left a boyfriend, I just had to get out of the relationship. Re: Has your (ex)wife ever........
Guilt is a pointless emotion.
Re: Has your (ex)wife ever........
Thank you for that. I certainly felt no guilt about leaving even though he'd proposed the week before..............
