Always thought this song was done well live (unlike Golden Brown). :|

The demo's a nice little ditty but the single wins hands down for being haunting. The sentiment behind the song changes completely between the two versions though.

Always thought that myself. In the original a townie drops out and goes to live a carefree life in the country, very hippy like behaviour.
In the later version someone from the quiet country seeks the excitement of the big city, very punk behaviour!!
