Just for a bit of fun. Providing if a single was released and received some publicity - perhaps a TV performance. Which track do you think would inspire Joe Public to get off their arses and buy the single and perhaps even the album? Dutch Moon or Norfolk Coast?

I was leaning towards DM but took the 'neither' option. If only I'd stuck with my guns I could have tied it at 8-8, which would have in effect meant an overall 'neither'.

How about Out of Time :booze: :booze: :booze: :D Joking aside,if they have other options ,why not go for something not on Norfolk Coast. If they can come up with something with similar calibre to the Norfolk Coast tracks, the chart placement should not be a bone of contention :booze: :booze:

Need a breakthrough single - Dutch moon - if released in July, Aug or Sept - is perfect summer music - very radio savvy - had almost as much play as LBV even when LBV was released. Heart says Norfolk Coast - head says - dutchmoon. All the usual caveats (EMI fucking useless....get some ads out...deal with the fucked up distribution...do 3 singles - inlcude some cool new stuff (plus a couple of live tracks) and bobs yer uncle.

Either that or an extended version of sanfte kuss (with all the english deleted) - which based on past practise is on a level playing field in terms of likelihood with the other two options !
Freddie Laker showed them what to do...

Norfolk Coast. It's got 'the' sound, whereas Dutch Moon sounds like something from a film soundtrack.

Depends. To show off what the band are all about, definitely Norfolk Coast, but for those mellow moments then Dutch Moon would probably ensnare a few more punters.
