Guilty and Hi-Fi are brilliant, with loads of singles on them I would have brought, but not 1 song on BEF I am afraid........
Now, Leave Me Alone..........
Think you need to give BEF another listen m8...its as good as Guilty and Hi-fi if not better depending on the mood...go on give it a nuver listen...you know you want to! and buy UHS!

I will buy anything that is released!

If the record sales dry up, then there is a danger that Hugh will say 'sod it' and stop doing any more. This would be a real shame, because he is writing and playing some fantastic music at the moment.

Do you realise how difficult it is to get other fans to share that view?!

Come a bit late to this. but I'll buy it for the aforementioned reasons. I was putting the extra tracks from the last single on itunes last night and they're great so more product = more stuff. Hip hip hooray.

I can't understand why any fan could not understand this basic principle - if an artist can't folg their songs, they will run out of both cash and patience!!

I'll buy all three formats and try and get some other people to buy a copy of the single. Hopefully, it should work to get him into the charts.

I'll buy the 3 formats NOT because;

1)I like singles (I don't buy them these days)
2)I believe Hugh will get in the charts (let's be real)
3)I think this song is particularly a good choice for a single

I will buy the product because I always have done - from Hugh and The Stranglers (& related artists). Regardless of whether any real commercial success follows.

Yeah, I know there are other issues with rip-off re-releases, re-packaging etc.

I gotta say that there is alot of FREE music knocking about these days though - FREE Hugh music that he isn't making a penny from. Look at all the 'live' stuff that's been made available through these forums and other sites. Hugh is aware of all the freebies I'm sure.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could show our appreciation by shelling out a few quid on his new single?

I haven't seen the track-listing yet. I hope there's enough interesting material on the cd(s) and that there won't be songs only made available on the vinyl as with the UHS single.

btw. How do you vote in this poll - I couldn't find anywhere to click on to register my vote.

Yeah! "Thick as fuck!" - heard it all before ya know

You've already voted - this is in fact an old thread from his last single. Of course I wouldn't possibly call you thick as shit - well not unless you ply me with 8 pints of Ayingerbru (Sp?) and a large quadruple Scotch.

Your post surprises me.

Don't know why you're surprised Jim.

If u did a search you will find that I bought all formats of The Stranglers & Hugh releases last year. Just as I always have. I don't buy more than one of each format though.
