What about Poole? Near the sea for a perfect weekend - Easy transport. There is a brilliant club called Mr Kyps who do tribute bands only, and hire out their hall.
We can get the catering arranged and do it in the hall - Excellent beer, good parking and train station 3 minutes walk away
Can you see where this is leading???
Well it was worth a try anyway !!!

Jim - Leeds has to be doable for The Southerners - by car or train, it's doable. Anyway, the air is cleaner. If it's ok for the band.....theraven1979 wrote:I guess Leeds makes more sense then?

To The Southerners : a convoy in black with those really stupidly cheap walky talkies you can get these days, travelling up the M1 ? Got to be worth the fun !
Finchley awaits further instruction. "Cabin doors to manual. Cross check".

There is a club in Crewe called the 'Limelight Club' , Faith may have played there and 3 men & Black also, anyway they generally only do Tribute bands so this maybe the ideal venue, Crewe is the main Hub of our fantastic rail system as trains go through here from everywhere, london to scotland , the midlands, the South West, north east and even Wales
