As for Mike and Spooner they were ok until they both started singing on Wonky 2 tour.

Another good gig last night, all the usual faves from first 2 albums, plus cuts from B+W, Raven, and my fav Thrown Away

Band looked tighter than last gig I saw in Birmingham. Reasonable turn out, about 60, with quiet a few from here, to numerous to mention, and as usual an excellent social drink, then late curry, must say cheers to NMH1965 for being superb host, great choice of curry house.

Looking forweard to next Birmingham gig in September, hope there will be a better turn out than last one, as they are well worth catching

Yes an excellent night and I was very impressed with the current band line-up who look to be growing in confidence.

Hope everyone who was there enjoyed it as much as I did!

But, unfortunately there will be a few gigs cut from the list as certain venues shut down or simply can't afford to put live bands on any more, due to the hard-hitting economic and financial crisis that is affecting the whole of the UK. A couple more have been cut for reasons of 'timing' (for want of a word). The 'casualties' are, in order, The Forum (Darlington, 28th Aug.)...Yardbirds (Grimsby, 16th Oct.)...The Venue (Shaw, nr Oldham, 27th Nov.)...Rockers (Glasgow, 10th Dec.)...
To those places that are closing, we hope you can re-open in some form or other in the near future, best of luck...
