Hello...and bathtub race

Post by MejillBass » 24 Apr 2017, 20:28

Hello, I was at the Monochrome Set gig in London the other week and noticed a couple of guys with Stranglers T-shirts so of course I said hello. I also let them know I was one of the people who helped to build the Stranglers bathtub viking longship for the race at Cagnes-sur-mer a long time ago. PaulinLondon advised me to post here so er.. that's it really and if anyone is interested I shall post more or answer any questions, dig out photos etc. I wonder if there are any of the other original builders out there? As for me - I stopped with the Stranglers after Hugh left although I did see them at Glastonbury a few years ago and of course they were great. Cheers, Aidan.

haha -the post-gig dancing all looked top notch to me - I was surprised the venue wasn't busier - did it pick up later on?
OK I shall go to the other forum when I have a coherent tale to tell.
