Re: Nelson Mandela R.I.P

I am still shocked that a Stranglers fan gives credence to the rantings of the Springbok Club, as nasty a band of white supremacists as you are likely to come across outside the BNP

Re: Allotments

I live in a village in Shropshire so we do not have that problem
the worry mid to long term is that we abut a graveyard which is running out of space
also I understand that nationally the increase popularity of allotments means there is talk of reducing plot sizes to fit more people in

Re: ED Milliband the JJ of British politics

Re: ED Milliband the JJ of British politics

A man who won the race to be party leader over his brother(who was what the Labour Party probably wanted/needed), by polling the most second, third and fourth choice votes on the Ballot papers. true but the point is tactically he understood the system he was working in as he appears to do in margina...

Re: ED Milliband the JJ of British politics

Going back to the main observation the boy Ed done good today he could be a Labour version of Thatcher in terms of achievement, an outsider, initially mocked, not expected to win, now taking on big institutions (Murdoch, power companies,Mail) and winning and of course endlessly talking about the ins...
