If this is the last major tour then I guess the band now are going out on a high.Lots of energy and a great sound ,yes I could have done without some of the fillers but overall I’m content that I’ve seen the band in this lineup

I think that Hugh has written and produced some fairly decent stuff over the years but I’ve never been able to equate his I don’t want to do stranglers songs with posters and media that call him the former legend of the stranglers

Technology allows the amplification to be done off stage i guess

I think one day there will be a solo burnel album along with his biography of the band both will sell really well in the uk and in France

Buck’s Fizz boney m mud etc loads of bands evolved with new members I guess it’s how nostalgic we feel or how relevant we feel the band is I’m going to see the band in Portsmouth on the 14th I’m strangely excited

I’m hoping by some miracle we will get more releases of other new songs soon even if it’s not enough for a whole album if not that it’s got to be some solo material from jj I still cannot get into Dark Matters I’m totally indifferent to it
