Yep, a 3CV. Had 6,000 on it when I bought it, 29,000 now. It's getting a bit long in the tooth but I still like it. There is an FJ1100 rotting away under a sheet nearby, I've tried to buy it several times. It's fair to say that you need a certain amount of patience and ingenuity with anything from M...

I like the Hinckley Triples, looked after a 900 Trophy for a while, not so sure about the twins, never ridden one. I just noticed a couple of other things about the eBay bike, the chrome on the wheel rims looks dull and it has no choke fitted to it. No choke is quite normal on these most people take...

Looks quite good, chrome is good. Looks right for '77, it says four speed but it will almost certainly be 5 speed, worth asking. The tank has been repainted and it has UK flat bars (should be high bars with this tank but it's often the owners preference) Also has a non standard 2-1 exhaust but it lo...

'Texture like sun, through my deck it runs'.........sorry! Did my weatherboard fence with that pump up spray Cuprinol stuff, done in a jiffy and actually looks quite good. What about those solar light things, anyone got them? Annoy the crap out of me as they sit there flashing in the dark because th...

It's all pebbles round here, still got my lawns (well the back garden is a scale model of the Somme) and me 30ft Leylandii trees. Those decking photos remind me of the Ewok's tree houses in Star Wars! If you've got Lego Star Wars for the PS you will see what I mean.....well it's the kids as as you a...

No, only got time for this forum of course (hello Jim!). I saw a couple of T-140's in that Old Bike Mart site, about £2,200 which is about right. Try to avoid anything heavily modified by the owner, it's usually bodged. If you are not too far away and something you wanted to look at was not too far ...

Looks nice. T120's from that era can go for a lot of money in the UK (£8-10k) depending on history and condition. I looked in to importing two Japanese bikes from Canada a couple of years ago, as I understood it the UK customs and excise wanted me to pay VAT on the purchase price and VAT on the ship...

Hence the T160 Triumph Trident was made at the BSA Small Heath factory and the BSA Rocket 3 was virtually a T160 with BSA badges. Always wanted one of those beasties but have been told they are expensive mechanical nightmares. Think JJ had an X-75 Hurricane version once (might still have it I suppos...
