There was a punch up at the recent Liquid Rooms gig which was the first fighting I've seen for a while at their gigs. Always rough, good couple of flying elbows always clobber me, but I feel safe enough. Which is weird as I am a very shy and quiet person, but I feel my natural habitat are rough gig...

Just to chip in that I saw them recently at the Liquid Rooms. it is good each year seeing them around Oct in Edinburgh then March for the Barras gig. I've racked up over 100 SLF gigs since 1980 and the last 4 or 5 years have seen a real rise in the quality of their shows. They are fantastic again l...

They'd all probably have been shot in the leg or worse probably had it been in the USA.

Shame they weren't here ??? :;):

But then hunting people with semi automatics has just become legal again the USA so they'd probably support it and want to make it gorier!

I was just saying to someone that maybe they are the first punk/new wave act where the core emmbers are now all pushing up daisies. They cahnged a bit on record over the years but they were a great live band and never really changed live through all the years I aw them. Dodgy political leanings tho...

me and the girlfriend were great undertones fans. I saw them a couple of times the first time round and the first concert we went to together was That Petrol Emotion back in the mid 80s. And then we went to see that documentary and since then neither of us have listened to them. I went in thinking ...

suzi quattro...... I still have her 'If you can't buy me love' single. Mine, is Rush. I got into them in the late 80s courtesy of Nomeansno strangely. They mentioned in an interview that they had been compared with a hardcore version of Rush so I got hold of some. I don't like the early years noodl...

"A different kind of tension" is my favourite overall Buzzcocks album. Really not aged either. I've been listening to the Jam today. I didn't like them at school other than 'When You're Young' and 'Down in the Tube Station at Midnight' (woh oh oh oooooh OH) so never really got into them. ...

I tried to read Lydon's book a couple of times but could never get past all the childhood stuff. The Siouxsie book was ok but nothing that great ands eemed lightweight compared to the likes of 'no mercy'. I've no idea how many times I've read that now. The Pulp one was good though. A good tale of p...
