There's lots on offer ! IMHO, best kebabs are to be had from Durum (corner of Cornwall Avenue and Ballards Lane). It is Turkish run and is ace. On the boozer front, I like the Elephant Inn - friendly and a good pint is to be had but others may have different preferences. I think the best Indian rest...

I've still got me Little Chef road map from the 1989 car tour seeing The Strangs. The map is covered in all sorts of beer stains and fag burns but makes excellent toilet reading to this day.

Started off on Thursday with one of those 3 litre wines. A Californian Chardonnay at 13.5 ABV - blew my head off! Good stuff though. At various times the last 4 days I've had plenty of Jack D (my fave), Cava, Stella, Carling, Fosters, a bottle of french white and some dodgy strong bitter. Bloody he...

I can drink red wine til the cows come home and still make sense. After 4 pints of Stella, I become a danger to myself. I leave th...

We had a great scene going on and shared all the work after school and on Saturdays. Any locals (Paulinlondon?) who ever get a chance to go to 'Maddens' as it is now called should ask if they can have a look out in the yard at the back because I remember it being a cobblestone alleyway which led to...

I haven't had Special Brew for years. Recently got completely larrupped on Merrydale cider in one of the boozers in Camden Town. A few of us met there to go to a gig in another pub and after six pints of this stuff, decided to stay where we were. Missed the gig but did not miss a hangover from hell ...
