That Tic Tac footage was one that got disproved. I think some guy used basic trigonometry to prove that the speeds weren't that fast.

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
They've recently proven a lot of the classic US "UFO" footage is all just standard identified objects. Was on the news a couple of weeks back.

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
Notice no Stan action this evening. I imagine him at the venue now, popcorn in hand. Really enjoying it

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I think Hugh came up with it. He was reading the Bible when he was in Pentonville and that sparked the connection. I imagine Jet would've assisted and encouraged it mind with his UFO interest

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
Yep - I think his point still stands though. I'd settle for a JJ Euro pop album. The follow up to Un Jour Parfait. Something to accompany those Spring/Summer Euro trips  Jim I'd be well up for JJ doing something weird and arty as a solo project, maybe another concept piece like Euroman Cometh ...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I think the fact that you label JJ as "a bassist who occasionally wrote and sang" is revealing. I'm unsure which part you think is incorrect. Is JJ a bassist? Yes. Did he occasionally write? Yes. Did he occasionally sing? Also yes. Anyway, enough. Objectively, you troll this board. Again,...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I really hope that the band do record new material but they do so taking artistic risks and experiment more. I think a lot will depend on Toby. He is obviously a very good keyboardist who can duplicate Dave's sounds live. But how good is he at writing music outside of the box as Dave did on many tr...
